If you are thinking about acquiring a Real Estate located in Mexico, wether it is in  Vallarta, Puerto Peñasco, Los Cabos, San Carlos, etc. or within our Mexican borders (Tijuana, Cancún) and you are a foreigner, you will need a Trust. In what is called the “Restricted Zone trust”. In that case come with the professionals, come to BanBajío.

According to Mexican Laws, a foreigner or foreign Companies that try to acquire a Real Estate in a “Restricted Zone” for residential purposes require a MEXICAN TRUST, a contract given by the bank and notarized before a notary public, it gives the foreigners the security to use an enjoy the Real Estate they want to buy, meanwhile the bank, as a Fiduciary, keeps the direct property of the Real Estate and it entails benefits and  legal security like for example the Fiduciary´s signature to approve the property transmission if it fulfills all the legal requirements. Because of that and some other reasons foreigners who buy real estates in Mexico even though they are outside the Restricted Zone, prefer to use the MEXICAN TRUST.

This contract has 50 years duration, offering legal security to the Real Estate´s buyers in Mexico.
